**RESPONSIBILITIES:**


+ Managing the sales function, ensuring strong customer relationships are established and maintained while also driving the team to achieve business goals

+ Promoting team selling and expansion of existing relationships across divisions and/or geographic areas

+ Coordinating engineering and sales support activities to facilitate offering and supporting quality products and services

+ Developing an environment to create and sustain a highly engaged team

+ Reviewing estimates to ensure accuracy and appropriate method to meet company and customer objectives

+ Assisting employees in determining margins, identifying resources and assessing future potential business; participating in selling to large/key accounts as needed

+ Networking with areas, regions, and corporate headquarters to increase knowledge of offerings, and creating opportunities for employees to do the same

+ Providing input for best practice work and encouraging employees to incorporate new ideas into projects

+ Developing sales forecast and providing input to budget

+ Identifying new market opportunities

+ Participating in development of long-range sales planning and growth strategies


**Qualification:**


+ 5 years of field and HVAC channel sales experience and proven ability to meet demanding customer requirements

+ Thorough understanding of market place dynamics including industry trends and assessment of key competitors programs

+ Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to pull data from assorted sources and synthesis in both graphic and verbal format, so that it is easily understood by the target audience

+ Proven capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience

+ Experience in preparing and presenting technical and sales presentations to customers (external and internal) and other influencers

+ Ability to set priorities, multitask and follow through on an assignment without redirection

+ Proven initiative, enthusiasm, organization and creativity

+ Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access & PowerPoint)

+ Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities

+ Superior follow-up and follow-through skills

+ Ability to work independently and efficiently manage sales portfolio and travel schedule


**Education:**


+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, related field of study or Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering preferred or 5 years of relevant industry experience
